He also possesses telepathy which he uses mainly only for communication. Jono also has abilities which he does not know of yet (as revealed in the original novel: flight, prescience, long-distance viewing, remote voice-casting with his real voice, the ability to create life, time-travel, the ability to alter the fabric of reality, and he may regenerate his face and give himself a better chin or create six heart chambers. Cool, huh? Synch has actually displayed Jonothan's flight ability already, in fact. History Jono grew up with what he considered to be a dream life. He had the three things he ever wanted: music, fans, and a girlfriend. But, like all dreams, one must eventually wake up. Jono "woke up" when his mutant powers developed, blowing always his chest and the lower part of his face. Not only that, but this same explosion paralyzed his girlfriend, Gayle Edgerton, legs down, confining her to a wheel chair. Horribly disfigured and all alone, Xavier's invitation to join his new school seemed like a last resort. Naturally, he used it. Jonothan resided at the Massachusetts academy with the rest of Generation X for several years until he was recruited for the new group of X-Men. After Gen X After the end of Gen X, Chamber ran off to England. There he met Sugar Kane, a British pop diva. The two had a steamy public relationship until she called it off (apparently, she was only going with him to change her image). Chamber returned to the X-Men and has since continued to fight for Xaviers cause.
